William M. Peterson II, MD, is a diagnostic radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal imaging and procedures. Dr. Peterson has expertise in image-guided bone and soft tissue biopsies, therapeutic joint injections, musculoskeletal ultrasound, orthopaedic imaging, and trauma imaging. He is also skilled in sports imaging and vertebral augmentation procedures such as vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty. Dr. Peterson earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, following an internship at the same institution. He further specialized in musculoskeletal imaging with a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Peterson welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
