William J. McCarran, MD

William J. McCarran, MD, is a physician with AHN Pediatric Institute and Director of the AHN Newborn Medicine Program. Dr. McCarran specializes in neonatal-perinatal medicine, offering expertise in state-of-the art newborn medicine and neonatal intensive care with a family-focused approach.

Dr. McCarran earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worchester, MA. He completed his residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, followed by a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the same institution.

William is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatrics in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He welcomes newborn and infant patients.
