Timothy Yang, DO, MSMEd, is a psychiatrist with AHN Behavioral Health, specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. After medical school he did his residency and his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. He also received his master’s in medical education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Yang feels that this degree has helped him be more effective in communicating medical knowledge. With pediatric patients, it has allowed him to better empower the patient and family with the appropriate information, so they are able to make informed decisions regarding care. Dr. Yang is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is also certified in Advanced and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He sees patients ages 4 to 17.
