"This provider did not examine me nor did he explain my X-ray results. He discounted my discomfort and did not seem interested in the fact that my discomfort prevented me from doing my routine exercise such as walking and biking. He told me to do what I could do and that there would be pain and if I still have high levels of pain to call him back to do the surgery. Also I had a question about how my hip pain could be causing the pain I was having in my ankle and the provider said "we are not here to talk about your ankle." Considering the ankle pain was on the same side as my hip pain, I thought they might be related and the doctor did not provide me an answer as to whether it could be. I also explained that my muscles seem to be atrophied on the side where I was having pain and the doctor told me (without examining me) that it is unlikely I would have atrophy for no reason. He did not explain why the other thigh did not experience any atrophying of muscle because of my limited activities."
