Tiara S. Gunnell, LPC, NCC
Tiara S. Gunnell, LPC, NCC, is a behavioral health clinician with AHN Behavioral Health, specializing in perinatal mental health and women’s trauma. She performs trauma informed individual, group, and family therapeutic interventions, outpatient therapy and support groups, and individual comprehensive evaluations.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from Penn State Greater Allegheny in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and earned her Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She is certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, with additional training in eye movement desensitization and repossessing, domestic violence, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and substance use disorders. Her approach is integrative and trauma-informed, focusing on empowering patient autonomy, strengthening insight, and developing skills to make meaningful change. She sees patients ages 18 and older at Saint Vincent Hospital.
