Thomas Murickan, MD, is a transplant surgeon with AHN Surgery Institute. He provides patient-centered care for transplant surgery and applies best-practice techniques to help ensure long-term outcomes. Dr. Murickan went to medical school at Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He did his residency in general surgery at Sparrow Hospital/Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Murickan completed his fellowship in kidney, liver, and intestine transplant and hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is affiliated with the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association. Dr. Murickan welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
