Taryn E. Hassinger, MD, MS
Taryn E. Hassinger, MD, MS is a board-certified colon & rectal surgeon who specializes in the surgical management of a wide variety of anal, colon, and rectal diseases including cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor dysfunction including fecal incontinence, and benign anorectal disease.
Dr. Hassinger completed medical school and a general surgery residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. She also completed an NIH-funded surgical oncology research fellowship at the University of Virginia and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis.
Dr. Hassinger is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She sees patients ages 16 and older.
