Suzanne Coopey, MD
Dr. Coopey is a breast surgeon with expertise in nipple-sparing mastectomies, the treatment of high-risk breast lesions, lumpectomy margins, and the use of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols, which aim to decrease or eliminate opioid use, pain, nausea, and hospital stay.
Joining AHN from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Dr. Coopey has played a prominent role in multiple influential breast clinical research projects, and she was a previous assistant professor at Harvard Medical School.
She also serves as Director of Breast Surgery for AHN and Chair of Breast Cancer Program for AHN Cancer Institute.
