Stephanie Sweeney, MD, is an internal medicine physician who specializes in geriatric medicine. She provides expert management for dementia, frailty, and fall prevention, as well as other challenges related to aging. She is dedicated to helping older adults age in their homes as safely and independently as possible.
Dr. Sweeney received her medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at AHN Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She received further training through a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Presbyterian and Shadyside Hospitals in Pittsburgh.
She is board certified in both internal medicine and geriatric medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Sweeney welcomes patients age 65 and older.
