Stephanie Ehland is a certified nurse midwife and certified registered nurse practitioner who helps patients stay healthy with prenatal care, pregnancy, and family planning. She is clinically interested in breastfeeding, supporting physiologic birth, and clinical aromatherapy. She provides contraception management, pessary fitting, and newborn circumcision. She sees patients of all ages and speaks English.
Midwifery means “with woman” and Stephanie believes her job is to assist women in making informed decisions for themselves and their families. Because what works for one woman does not necessarily work for all, she delivers individualized, evidence-based care to make our communities stronger.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and her Bachelor of Arts degree in women studies from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. She completed a Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
She is board-certified as a women’s health nurse practitioner by the National Certification Corporation, as an international board-certified lactation consultant, and as a certified nurse midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
