Sirena Claxon, LPC
Sirena Claxon, LPC, is a behavioral health supervisor with AHN Behavioral Health. She specializes in depression, anxiety, panic/mood disorders, self-injurious behaviors, safety concerns, and interpersonal concerns, with a special interest in children and adolescents. Her special procedural skills include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, unified protocol therapy, and intensive outpatient programs.
Sirena Claxon received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and believes one of the most significant components of establishing success within therapy is a strong therapeutic alliance. Her goal is to provide patients with a non-judgmental and warm environment in order to effectively establish the therapeutic relationship. She sees patients ages 9 to 35.
