Shirley Mitchell, LCSW, is a psychiatric clinician specializing in the care of children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has clinical interests in anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and family conflict. Shirley is skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy, structured family therapy, and supportive therapy. She earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and received additional training in family therapy through certifications from the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic, as well as Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Shirley is dedicated to helping patients achieve their goals by providing compassionate care and utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques. She welcomes patients ages 3 and older.
