Shannon is a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) who specializes in neurology and has a clinical interest in movement disorders. She is skilled in deep brain stimulation (DBS) therapy for the management of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in nursing from Youngstown State University in Ohio. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Neurology, Movement Disorder Society, and Pittsburgh Young Professionals Organization.
