Shan Modi, MD

Shan Modi, MD works with AHN Pulmonary and Critical Care and specializes in cardiothoracic critical care. His clinical interests include extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplantation, transplant critical care, and critical care ultrasonography.

Dr. Modi went to medical school at University of Texas in Galveston, Texas, He did his emergency medicine residency at University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio and his critical care medicine fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine — Emergency Medicine, the American Board of Emergency Medicine and American Board of Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine, and the National Board of Echocardiography in Critical Care Echocardiography Testamur. Dr. Modi sees patients ages 18 and older.
