Sarah Zambotti, OD
Dr. Zambotti is an optometrist who provides primary vision care — from routine vision testing and correction to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of vision changes. She cares for both children and adults.
She has special clinical interests in retinal screenings for diabetes, macular degeneration, and other vascular, inflammatory, and neurological conditions. She also has expertise in glaucoma, dry eye disease, emergency eye care, and cataract/LASIK pre- and post-operative care.
Dr. Zambotti performs ocular surface foreign body removal, prescription glasses and contact lens fittings, and Department of Motor Vehicle vision screenings. She also provides consultations to patients hospitalized at West Penn Hospital, and also at West Penn’s Emergency Department.
She earned her doctorate at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr. Zambotti is certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Optometry as an optometrist in Therapeutics and Glaucoma, and the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
