Sarah B. Shinn, MD, is an internal medicine/geriatric physician with AHN Primary Care Institute specializing in the nonsurgical care and treatment of adults, ages 15 and older.
Dr. Shinn received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Sarah completed both her internship and residency at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She is ABIM Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Shinn was a National Health Service Scholarship recipient and practiced internal medicine and emergency medicine in inner city Chicago. She had a private practice in Wexford and then at HVHS in Sewickley where she was the chair of the CME committee and the first women elected as Medical Staff President.
