Dr. El-Hachem specializes in caring for individuals with digestive disorders, including inflammatory bowel diseases, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and microscopic colitis. She is the director of Center for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. She is skilled at advanced endoscopic procedures, such as chromoendoscopy, capsule endoscopy, pouchoscopy, and ileoscopy. After earning her degree at the American University of Beirut School of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon, she completed her residency at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She gained additional training and expertise during her fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. El-Hachem speaks English, French, and Arabic.
