Safet Lekperic, MD, is an interventional radiologist with AHN Imaging. He diagnoses and treats patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, peripheral arterial disease, fibroids, veins, and pelvic congestion syndrome. Additionally, he performs procedures such as nephrostomy tube exchanges and insertion of medi-ports. Dr. Lekperic went to medical school at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York. He did is residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York and his fellowship in interventional radiology at RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a combined certification in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and is affiliated with the Society of Interventional Radiology and the American College of Radiology. Dr. Lekperic is patient-oriented with a conservative approach to practicing medicine. He sees patients ages 18 and older.
