Dr. Flannery received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. He completed his surgical internship at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., where he also completed his anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship. He has worked as an attending physician for the Allegheny Health Network at The Institute for Pain Medicine in Pittsburgh since completing his fellowship. He is certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology and holds professional memberships with the American Medical Society, the Pittsburgh Pain Society and American Society of Anesthesiologists.
