Rajashekar Adurty, MD, FCCP, FACP
Dr. Rajashekar Adurty, MD, FCCP, FACP, is a pulmonary and critical care specialist. He has clinical expertise in managing conditions such as COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, pulmonary fibrosis, interstitial lung diseases, and hypersensitivity pneumonitis. Dr. Adurty also specializes in pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, and lung conditions related to high altitude and diving. He provides preoperative pulmonary clearance and advanced treatments for lung infections, including COVID pneumonia, as well as hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Adurty is skilled in advanced procedures such as navigation bronchoscopy, transbronchial biopsy, endobronchial ultrasound, and various catheter placements.
He went to medical school at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India, with advanced training in general surgery at the same institution. He completed his residency at UPMC McKeesport. Dr Adurty did fellowships in pulmonary and critical care medicine at UPMC Presbyterian and AHN Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He is board-certified in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, neurocritical care, and internal medicine. Dr. Adurty welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
