Rachel Morris, MD, is a trauma and acute care surgeon with the AHN Surgery Institute, specializing in immediate surgical intervention for critically injured patients. Dr. Morris is skilled in managing life-threatening injuries and treating acute surgical conditions, including infections, internal bleeding, and organ damage, providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Morris earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in North Carolina, and completed her residency at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, NC. Additionally, she did a fellowship in Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Morris is certified by the American Board of Surgery and welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
