Rachael Edwards, MD
Rachael Edwards, MD, is a board-certified radiologist with expertise in cardiac imaging, diagnostic radiology, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer screening, and thoracic radiology. She is currently an attending radiologist at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Edwards completed her fellowship in cardiothoracic imaging at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. She also completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Edwards has a strong background in research and has authored multiple articles in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, the Journal of Thoracic Imaging, and the Radiology journal. She has also presented her research at numerous national and international conferences.
Dr. Edwards is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of radiologists. She is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, the Society of Thoracic Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the North American Society of Cardiovascular Imaging. Dr. Edwards received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She is fluent in English.
