Nicole Carlson, MD, FACOG
Dr. Carlson is a board-certified OB-GYN with over 15 years of experience. She provides a full range of gynecologic and obstetric care to women of all ages, from adolescence to menopause and beyond. Dr. Carlson enjoys all aspects of patient care to include preventive visits, problem-oriented visits, and surgical services. Her goal is to establish an individualized relationship with each patient so that shared decisions regarding their health care can be made. She is highly skilled at performing gynecologic procedures such as laparoscopy, hysterectomy, and endometrial ablation, and prefers a minimally invasive approach to surgery whenever possible.
Dr. Carlson received her medical degree from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1999 and completed her residency while serving in the U.S. Navy through the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2003. Following her residency, she served the United States military as Lieutenant Commander for the Medical Corps at the Naval Hospital Lemoore while attached to the Fleet Hospital in Camp Pendleton, California.
Dr. Carlson is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a current fellow with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She offers patient visits in her offices in Grove City and Butler and performs procedures at Grove City Medical Center, West Penn Hospital, and Wexford Hospital.
