Nael Aldweib, MD, is a cardiologist with the AHN Cardiovascular Institute at Allegheny General Hospital. He cares for adults with heart conditions present from birth, advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathies, pulmonary hypertension, and patients who may need mechanical heart support or a heart transplant. Dr. Aldweib works closely with each patient to understand their heart health needs and create a care plan that fits their condition. He has special expertise in caring for adults whose childhood heart repairs now require ongoing monitoring or advanced treatment. He completed advanced fellowship training in cardiovascular disease, adult congenital heart disease, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. He also holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research and is board certified in multiple areas of cardiovascular care.
