Dr. McCarren is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology. She provides a full range of obstetric care, including wellness exams and contraception. She is experienced in gynecologic surgery including minimally invasive approaches. Her goal is to create a relationship with each patient, to encourage them to be involved in their health care decisions, and to provide individualized care. She chose obstetrics to connect with women and help them with their health issues, and to share in the joy of childbirth. Dr. McCarren sees patients over age 13. She received a medical degree from Trinity School of Medicine in St. Vincent in the Caribbean. She completed a residency at Danbury Hospital, Western Connecticut Health Network in Danbury, Connecticut. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association, and she has a SAGES FLS Certification. She has been active in research, publications, and presentations.
