Michael D. Patterson, MD Pain Medicine
Dr. Patterson is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pain medicine physician. He offers patients interventional techniques, adjuvant therapy, and medical management to manage chronic pain. He has clinical expertise in spine care, neuromodulation, radiofrequency, and neurotomy.
He received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. He completed an internship in interventional radiology and electrophysiology at Memorial Medical Health System, Conemaugh Valley Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He completed a three-year physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also received fellowship training in pain medicine at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and its subspecialty of Pain Medicine. Dr. Patterson hails from Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, and currently lives in Wexford, Pennsylvania with his wife and two sons.
