Dr. Matthew Straka is an otolaryngologist who provides highly specialized care for conditions of the ear, nose, and throat. He diagnoses and treats ear infections, seasonal allergies, hearing loss, nasal disorders, sinusitis, voice and swallowing disorders, vertigo, and head and neck cancers. Dr. Straka has expertise in performing endoscopic sinus surgery and skull base surgery. Dr. Straka earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, in Washington, D.C., and he completed a residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He also completed a Master of Science in neurobiology and physiology from Northwestern University. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Straka is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American Rhinologic Society, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Allegheny County Medical Society.
