Dr. Sangimino is a general pediatric orthopedic surgeon who treats children and adolescents with sports injuries, fractures, hip dysplasia, club foot, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, in-toeing/out-toeing, and neuromuscular conditions. He is experienced in performing surgery on the spine and extremities.
He is director of the AHN Pediatric Orthopaedic Institute and the AHN division of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also associate program director of the AGH Orthopaedic Residency Program.
He received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency and internship at SUMMA Health System in Akron, Ohio. He gained additional training during his fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Sangimino is assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine and Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also director of Pediatric Orthopaedic CORE. He also participates in community health programs for awareness and fundraising.
Dr. Sangimino is a member of the American Orthopaedic Association, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, and the American and Pennsylvanian Academies of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He speaks English.
