Dr. Marisa Isaacson is a gastroenterologist who diagnoses and treats diseases of the digestive/gastrointestinal (GI) tract. She performs endoscopic procedures to treat conditions of the GI system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, and liver.
After graduating from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, in Netherlands Antilles, St. Maarten, Dr. Isaacson completed a residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut. She also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Isaacson is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
She welcomes patients 18 and older at the Allegheny Center for Digestive Health in the North Side and in Jefferson Hills.
