Lyn Weinberg, MD
Lyn Weinberg, MD, is a board-certified Geriatrician and proudly serves as the Division Director for Geriatrics at Allegheny Health Network (AHN). She is passionate about promoting care that centers around the "4Ms" of Age-Friendly care (Mentation, Mobility, Medications, and What Matters), with the aim of improving the healthcare experience for older adults across the full spectrum of care.
Dr. Weinberg currently serves as the Medical Director of AHN’s American Geriatrics Society (AGS) Co-Care Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP), which has earned status nationally as an AGS Co-Care HELP Center of Excellence. She also serves as Medical Director for the AHN Aging Brain Care Program, a supportive program for caregivers of people living with dementia. She has led the implementation of innovative clinical services in Geriatrics at AHN, including surgical co-management services and an integrated outpatient Geriatric consultative model.
In addition to her responsibilities as Division Director, she maintains an active clinical practice in Geriatrics, providing care for older adults in the outpatient, inpatient, and home-based settings. Dr. Weinberg completed her medical school training at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital, and fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is currently accepting new patients for Geriatric outpatient consultations, for patients 65 and older.
