Dr. Ercolano received her medical degree from the University of California Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento California graduating with honors. She completed her surgical internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Department of Orthopaedics where she served as administrative chief resident. She received her fellowship training in orthopaedic oncology at the Harvard Combined/Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Ercolano has received numerous academic and clinical awards and honors. She is a published author of medical articles and abstracts on a wide variety of orthopaedic topics. She has been involved in various clinical research projects and has presented to medical audiences both locally and nationally. She holds professional memberships with the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, the National Honor Society in Psychology (Psi Chi) and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. She is also a candidate member of MSTS and AAOS. Dr. Ercolano was named one of Pittsburgh Magazine's "Best Doctors" in 2020. Dr. Ercolano joins the physicians of Allegheny Orthopaedic Associates at the Human Motion Center. She has staffing privileges at Allegheny General Hospital and is accepting new patients of all ages.
