Katie Farah, MD, MMM, CPE, FASGE, has been a therapeutic gastroenterologist with AHN Medicine Institute for the past 10 years. over 19 years. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, performing routine upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Dr. Farah is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology and is a Fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (FASGE). She holds a Master's Degree in Medical Management (MMM) from Carnegie Mellon University and is a Certified Physician Executive from the American Association for Physician Leadership. She also serves on the National Board of Directors for the GI Quality Improvement Consortium and has been recognized for Excellence in the GI Practice Operations Recognition Program. She has been repeatedly selected as one of Pittsburgh's Top Doctors. Dr. Farah is a passionate advocate for colorectal cancer screening and spearheaded the "Saturday Screening" initiative at AHN. She previously served as Chief Medical Officer of Wexford Hospital and currently holds the position of Chief Medical Officer of the Physician Partners of Western Pennsylvania (PPWPA) and Medical Director of Quality. Her passion is team building, clinician/physician engagement, and driving transformation in healthcare.
