Dr. Karthikeyan Ranganathan is a cardiologist with AHN Cardiovascular Institute, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, cardiogenic shock, and heart failure. He performs invasive surgical procedures, including angioplasty and stenting, to provide the patient with optimal cardiovascular care.
Dr. Ranganathan received his medical degree from K.A.P. Viswanatham Government Medical College in Trichy, India. Upon coming to the United States, he did his residency of Internal Medicine at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, Champaign, IL. He completed his fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant, and Interventional Cardiology from Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
