Dr. Karthikeyan Ranganathan is a cardiologist with the AHN Cardiovascular Institute and Director of the Cardiogenic Shock Program and Co-Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. He specializes in advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, heart attack, valvular heart disease, cardiogenic shock, ECMO, ECPR, angioplasty, and stenting. After earning his medical degree from K.A.P. Viswanatham Government Medical College in Trichy, India, he completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and fellowships in cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant, and interventional cardiology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
