Karalyn Hillebrecht, DO

Karalyn Hillebrecht, DO, is a surgical critical care specialist with the AHN Surgery Institute, providing advanced care for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). Dr. Hillebrecht is skilled in managing complex cases that require close monitoring and specialized support following major surgery or severe trauma. She coordinates life-saving treatments to stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions, optimizing their chances for recovery.

Dr. Hillebrecht earned her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She completed her residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Additionally, she did a fellowship in surgical critical care at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

Dr. Hillebrecht welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
