Dr. Potts treats patients using minimally invasive endovascular techniques for a range of conditions including liver disease, uterine fibroids, and peripheral arterial and venous disease.
He is experienced in the use of embolization techniques in the treatment of liver cancer, including chemoembolization and radio (Yttrium-90) embolization. He has advanced training to perform uterine and prostate artery embolization and treat varicoceles and pelvic congestion.
He has interest in the treatment of arterial and venous disease using a range of devices including angioplasty, stents, atherectomy, thrombectomy, and thrombolysis. Among his clinical interests are liver disease and vascular disease.
Dr. Potts received his medical degree from University of Adelaide in Adelaide, Australia. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He completes a fellowship in vascular interventional radiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Shadyside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
