Dr. McGovern is director of the AHN Saint Vincent Hospital Sleep Center. He helps patients manage sleep-and pulmonary-related conditions. He is experienced in administering bronchoscopy, navigational bronchoscopy, and endobronchial ultrasound and is an expert in all facets of pulmonary medicine. He has a special clinical interest in sleep apnea, narcolepsy, limb movements, parasomnias, and lung cancer. Dr. McGovern received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a residency at Graduate Hospital: University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He furthered his training with fellowships in pulmonary and critical care at the University of California Irvine Medical Center in Irvine, California. He is currently the immediate past president of the Erie County Medical Society. He speaks English.
