Dr. Martinez Castellanos is a general noninvasive cardiologist, providing care to patients with coronary artery disease, hypertension, valve disease, preventive cardiology, and heart failure. She has a special interest in women's heart disease and heart failure and expertise in echocardiography and stress nuclear imaging.
She received her medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, in Caracas, Venezuela, and completed her residency training at the University of Miami/JFK Medical Center Palm Beach in Atlantis, Florida, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Martinez Castellanos is certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, National Board of Echocardiography, and Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Heart Association.
