Heather Mozdy, CRNP, CNM, is a highly skilled and compassionate women's health expert dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care to her patients. Heather’s areas of expertise encompass a wide range of women's health concerns, including reproductive health issues such as obstetrics, preconception counseling, recurrent pregnancy loss, abnormal bleeding, amenorrhea, birth control methods, contraception, IUD insertion and removal, infertility, menopause, menstrual disorders, Nexplanon insertion and removal, PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome), pelvic pain, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), regulation of hormones, regulation of menstrual cycles, sexual function, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and vaginal infections (bacterial, yeast). She also specializes in gynecological health concerns such as vulvovaginitis, vulvar biopsy, cervical polyps, endocervical polyps, polypectomy, endometrial biopsy, vulvar lichen sclerosis, and vulvovaginal atrophy.
Additionally, Heather is experienced in hormonal health issues, including hormone replacement therapy, hot flashes, and dyspraxia. Heather is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) and a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), having received her education at Georgetown School of Nursing. She is board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and the National Certification Corporation.
