Harsimran Kaur, MD, is a vascular neurologist who treats stroke patients and is particularly interested in the effects of stroke on women and adolescents. He specializes in care for arterial occlusion, stenosis, and dissection, as well as brain bleed, ischemic stroke, transient ischemic stroke (TIA), brainstem stroke, and lacunar stroke. Dr. Kaur earned his medical degree from the Government Medical College in Amritsar, India. He completed his residency at AHN Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received additional training through a fellowship in vascular neurology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Kaur is board certified in vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Kaur welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
