Hammad Arshad, MD
Hammad Arshad, MD, is a specialist in pulmonary and critical care medicine with expertise in managing complex respiratory and critical illnesses. Dr. Arshad is skilled in treating conditions such as adult asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, interstitial lung disease, and pleural effusion, as well as performing endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), thoracentesis, and bronchoscopy.
Dr. Arshad earned his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and pursued a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at AHN Allegheny General Hospital and AHN West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Pulmonary Medicine, and the American Board of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Arshad welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
