Giselle Fernandes, LCSW
Giselle Fernandes, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor for the AHN Chill Program who specializes in mental health support for children and adolescents. She has a deep clinical interest in addressing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma, offering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of young individuals. Giselle employs a variety of approaches, including Gestalt therapy, psychodynamics, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-focused CBT.
She earned her master’s in social work with a focus on mental health from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also holds a master’s in psychology of education from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
Additionally, Giselle has specialized training in mental health and is a certified Gestalt therapist. She welcomes patients ages 5 and older.
