Dr. Giath Shari is a board-certified pulmonologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of respiratory conditions. He is fluent in both Arabic and English, ensuring effective communication with a diverse patient population.
Dr. Shari's expertise encompasses a comprehensive spectrum of pulmonary diseases, including asthma, EBUS - Endobronchial Ultrasound, emphysema, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, lung irritants and pollutants, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary nodule, sarcoidosis, shortness of breath, and tuberculosis (TB). Dr. Shari is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to his patients. He utilizes the latest diagnostic and therapeutic modalities to ensure optimal outcomes.
Dr. Shari is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine-Pulmonary Disease, and American Board of Int Med-Critical Care Medicine. He completed his fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and Foundation, Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education, West Penn Hospital, and Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Shari completed his residency at West Penn Hospital and earned his medical degree from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine.
