Counseling Psychology
Eric Stern, LPC, is the Manager of Behavioral Health and Supervisor of the Jefferson Adult and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs, specializing in trauma therapy. With a clinical focus on trauma, mood and personality disorders, and the role of spirituality and art in well-being, Eric integrates a unique and holistic approach to mental health care. He is an EMDR-certified clinician skilled in internal family systems therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Eric earned his Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also holds a Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Sculpture from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Berkeley University in California. Eric Stern welcomes patients ages 15 and older.
