Emily Wolfe, PhD.
Emily Wolfe, PhD, is a psychologist within the Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Institute, specializing in pediatric psychology. Dr. Wolfe works with child and adolescent patients and their caregivers to provide support for the wide range of difficulties when coping with an acute or chronic pediatric medical condition. Common difficulties may include adjusting to a new diagnosis, improving adherence to medical regimen, addressing parent-child challenges within the context of managing a medical condition, as well as anxiety and depression that may arise or be exacerbated by a medical illness.
Dr. Wolfe also specializes in child/adolescent anxiety and depression for patients without medical conditions. Dr. Wolfe earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She completed her residency at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, MD and her post-doctoral fellowship at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA.
She provides evidence-based care and works primarily with patients ages 10-24 years old.
