Elisa C Taffe, MD, CWSP Dr. Elisa Taffe is the medical director of the Advanced Wound Healing at AHN Allegheny General Hospital. She collaborates with various subspecialists as needed to treat patients with complex wounds. Dr. Taffe is skilled at providing patients with advanced wound therapies including skin substitutes. She is a Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP) and has a certification in vascular medicine and is recognized as a Fellow within the Society of Vascular Medicine She received a medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She served as the medical director for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at the Community College of Allegheny County and is also an assistant professor of medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. She speaks English.
