Deep Shah, MD, is a hematologist at the AHN Cancer Institute, specializing in classical/non-malignant hematology. Dr. Shah has a strong clinical interest in a wide range of hematological disorders, including thrombotic and hemorrhagic conditions, hemoglobin disorders such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, and disorders of iron metabolism. He also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at AHN. Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from Padmashree Dr. DY Patil Medical College in Navi Mumbai, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York, and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the AHN Cancer Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he also served as the chief fellow. Dr. Shah is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
