Dr. Buchanan specializes in preventative cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiomyopathies, and congestive heart failure. Certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Medicine, he has completed fellowships in echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and diagnostic cardiac catheterization. Dr. Buchanan earned his degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, and completed his residency at West Penn Hospital, AHN. He gained specialized skills and experience during his cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, in Browns Mills, New Jersey.
