Dr. Cristina S Strahotin is a gastroenterologist who diagnoses and treats diseases of the digestive/gastrointestinal (GI) tract. She performs endoscopic procedures to treat conditions of the GI system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, and liver. After graduating from Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, Dr. Strahotin completed a residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. She also completed a fellowship in transplant hepatology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Strahotin is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology, transplant hepatology, and internal medicine. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. She welcomes patients 18 and older at the Allegheny Center for Digestive Health in the North Side and in Wexford. She speaks Romanian and English.
