Dr. Kyung treats patients for asthma, lung cancer, COPD, and other breathing disorders. He is experienced in performing routine bronchoscopy, transbronchial biopsy, and EBUS screenings. He is also an expert in sleep testing, evaluation, and therapies to help patients achieve better sleep. Dr. Kyung received a medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. He completed a residency at Northwell at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, New York, and a Chief Residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New Rochelle, New York. He gained further training through a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York, and at a sleep medicine fellowship at New York University Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, New York. During training he participated in clinical research, presenting findings at conferences and contributing to medical publications.
