She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Virginia, and further specialized with a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
